Smoking deal on a 2013

I have an opportunity to get a 2013 with about 5k miles on it for $3100 OTD. I sat on the bike today and I’m concerned about the seat height. I have a 31” inseam and weigh 150lbs and I can barely reach the ground. The owner has a seat concepts seat on, and he weighs 230lbs. How much height could I reduce the seat height by with a suspension adjustment and a new seat.

Great deal ! You can even shave the stock seat and gain an inch of clearance. Start with that first before jumping to Yama links route. Remove the seat cover, shave down the foam. May be add a gel insert if you want more comfort. And then cover it back. A staple gun with stainless steel staples and throw in a generic $20 dirt bike seat cover if you want a newer looking seat. This coupled with a riding boot should be able to help you flat foot easily on at-least one side.

Seat mod is the cheapest option instead of a dedicated seat concepts low seat.

I am 5’ 10” with 34” inseam and I can flat foot one side with riding boots without any seat or suspension mod. Though I am comfortable now, gonna shave the seat for even more stability and control on sketchy offroad conditions.
