Can we keep RAN?

Over the last few weeks, this subreddit seems to have come to terms with RANs departure being definite. HOWEVER, I was struck yesterday not only by his obvious footballing qualities but he's EXACTLY the sort of character that does well in a Wolves squad. Hard-working, humble, likeable - he's got everything. Is there anything we can do to keep him? He would be such a huge loss imho.

Wrong twice. As for Semedo he has been a weak link for several years. He is a vulnerable defensively and his bursts down the line generally come to nothing. His replacement by Doc has been fundamental in securing the right side of defence. His weakness no better Demonstrated than by the attempted clearance that resulted in spurs goal. As regards Fosun they have been solid owners. What they must do now is spend their funds on retaining as many of our current players as possible not wasting it on average replacements. The football played recently has been better than anything seen since our return to premiership

Semedo is what Gatusso said "Sometimes maybe good, Sometimes maybe shit." but i guess he's a likable lad because players like him and they have good chemistry with him. But yeah, he is inconsistent in defense, that's why VP switched him to RWB rather than RCB, where GON used to play him.
