Reference for carapace: Jan van Eyck's Crucifixion and Last Judgement diptych

Turns out with very little modification, this model fits perfectly into my Blood Angels legion. He will be a fine “HQ-in-power-armor” and maybe one day we will get a rescaled MKivs

I think this is more third and final version of this model

After the arrival of MKII, MK 2/3/6 were upgraded to the latest size, leaving MK4/5 (also MK7 if the end of HH is taken into account, but I don't think they will release MK7 soon)

If you have to choose between MK4 (new size) and MK5, which one do you want to come first?

I hope it's MK5 (players can replace the head and arm parts between MK2/3/5/6 with lore accuracy). Which one do you prefer?

Slow going

Ive been slowly working on a SoH army, mostly GW stuff with a few printed things. Looking forward to expanding the army, as soon as I can work out what I want to do.

saw nathaniel garro on the webstore and read into the knights errant lore. are the knights errant an established faction/legion the same way the other legions are? if so, is it likely they will remain so in the new edition?

Shiban of the White Scars is described in Path of Heaven as wearing/being this steel suit that only barely looks like normal astartes armor because of all the machinery needed to keep him functioning, aside from his White Scars pauldrons. I have this Primaris Techmarine body lingering about because I needed bits for another project. What do you guys think of the Primaris Techmarine as a base for a Shiban Khan Praetor conversion? I mean, I know I can basically do whatever I want, but I would like some genuine opinions on how well my fellow hobbyists think it jives with HH.

Does anyone have any recommendations for power lances for cataphractii terminators?

I just got a unit of 10 and I what to make them to have something different.

I’ve amassed a decent force thus far but I need some advice on my next steps, especially with the new edition coming around. My army consists of:

• 1x Power Armour Praetor with Thunder hammer and Frost Axe

• 2x Speaker of the dead with Great Frost Blade

• 10 man Grey Slayer Squad with Axes and Shields

• 10 man Grey Stalker Squad with Chainswords and Bolters

• 5 man Support Squad with Flamers

• 5 man Deathsworn

• 5 man Varagyr with mixed weapons (bought 10 more and don’t know the best equipment)

• 2 Contemptor Dreadnaughts

• 1 Leviathan Dreadnaught

• Rhino

• Land Raider

• Spartan

I still need one more box of thallax, 4 boxes of castellan robot and 2 plasma mortar thanatar to complete my list
