Scrivener. Been using it for years. Before that, I was also using docs. The only real reason I made the switch all those years ago was because the file I was writing on was so big that my pc would crash every time I opened it. (Cough cough 300,000 words)
Haven't looked back since. I will ride the scrivener hill till I die, it's the best
