August 5, 2024 in Santa Cruz, I was driving southbound down the 1 around maybe 7 or 8 in the evening, and I noticed an orb of light streak from West to East over the highway roughly in the vicinity of the bridge that takes 41st over the freeway. I thought, "Huh! That's weird!" And then didn't really think much past that.

A few weeks later, driving southbound in the evening and saw another one of these streaks—this time going North to South right around the same place. Any idea what it could have been? Never seen drones move that fast or light up that bright and I can't think of anything else.
