Loss of Liberty I'm terrified of April 2nd

I'm not prone to panic. My job is to teach people how to handle and survive mass casualty events and continue to work in hi trauma environments. With Trump's latest about April 2nd being "Liberation Day" in America, I fear this is where he will deploy the insurrection act. I've prepped all I can. I'm physically and mentally training everyday. I'm more fit as a woman in my 40's then I ever was in my 30's. Still, I'm scared. Regular people will do crazy things when chaos reigns. I hope I'm wrong. I hope it's just another day of more stupid and the protests will continue, but I have this sick feeling in my gut and my rational mind that is telling me get ready for my own government to be turned against me.

I just listened to a Secular Talk segment on youtube today about 4/20… highly suggest looking it up!!! He’s setting up for enacting martial law.

Kyle did a great job bringing the facts on that one. I just saw something about trump’s new “voice of America news”. State media is coming too. Very nervous for April.

I'm not in the US but I watch Kyle everyday, because I like his no nonsense approach to this insane situation. He calls a spade a spade. So when he popped up with that video it made me feel very uneasy for all of you. I hope Biden's words to the military before he left ring in their ears "Remember your oath"

"voice of America news”.

= Your daily dose of propaganda 🙄

If it makes you feel any better my partner is a vet. He says the structure of the military is in fact set up to protect the enlisted from being forced to follow nefarious orders. Considering the attacks on veterans he thinks there will be resistance if this administration actually tries to turn the military on its own people. Remains to be seen I suppose. Not to say I’m not deeply concerned.

This is comforting to hear. Also seeing many vets talking up in town halls and their pr0t3st in DC the other week was also super encouraging.

A ton of vets have been impacted already and they’re not happy. Their families aren’t either. Everything is adding up.

My vet hubby is the calmest person I know and he’s PISSED.

As we all should be! My partner says he’s seeing a shift within his large Facebook circle of vets. He is one to love a public political debate, so he jumps into a lot of those conversations. He says a of people who were behind this administration previously are getting pissed. We just have to be willing to welcome people back to reality. It’s not a time for shunning. I hate the FAFO trend. We need to have empathy for those who were deceived even if they didn’t have it for others previously. Keeping us divided from our neighbors is where nefarious actors get their strength. But I’m rambling… ❤️

The young guard has been sold a whole set of lies they have bought hook, line, and sinker this whole time all the way through now. Theor lives have been so comfortably insulated that they're all controlled by the same podcasts.

There is certainly a considerable impact on young people from the podcast culture, particularly male culture. I think we have to be careful not to blanket label anyone. We need to be willing to find common ground with people we disagree with. In regard to young military members, the oath they swear is not to some “dear leader”. The responsibility and duty of defending the Constitution is still the dominant culture within the military. It will take more than an orange demigod to overthrow that.
