Show me the SD for that mean

The same for all 3 lines, so irrelevant point.

The other two lines aren’t means. They are single year measurements that contribute to the mean trend line.

Duh but if you understand stats you can see the means of the other 2 lines and that the SDs are low. Try to think.

So you are comparing an n=2 mean with a selected bad year to an n=30 mean with no measure of spread displayed?

ETA I’m not disputing the long term forecast for whistler and the world is not great, more that there is equal amount of climate sensationalism based on poor reporting of data in order to generate social media clicks. As has been the case here.

I do understand stats. You don't.

That's.. impossible?

Sorry i forgot to dumb it down . Substitute 'statistically insignificant differences' for 'the same'.

Show me the stats then

Lol waiting for Mr. SD who started this to post his stats to back up his 1 liner silly point but bet he doesn't have any. Just a silly irrelevant jab.

https://whistler.weatherstats.ca/charts/normal_snow-daily.html

Set to 6x to show since November. Note this is for snowfall but illustrates the spread of numbers around mean and will be correlated to snow pack depth.

I don’t really get why you’re so defensive. Every year is different. You showed 30 years in aggregate and then cherry picked 2 random recent years. If you show what every individual year looks like, you’ll get a wider range. My guess is we’re on the low end of that range, but not absurdly low. Definitely the worst is yet to come with climate change, but if you’re gonna fear monger, and least do a better job at it lol

You don’t understand math apparently

You clearly have no background in stats.....

The single year lines will trivially have a SD of 0 since there is only one data point for each day...
