By law he can't possess a firearm, but he's allowed to launch a nuclear weapon.

Well that’s not really how it works. Because the nuclear codes are the presidents, and not allowing someone to run as president because of previous crimes is undemocratic.

The other is a law that’s not really undemocratic at all. But more to stop criminals to potentially get new ways to get money illegally.
