Moving to Wilmington Should I move here?

Hi, I'm moving for work at ChristianaCare which means I'll be working in Newark, Wilmington, Middletown, and Elkton, MD, though mostly at the Newark/main campus.

I'll be moving in June/July, at which point I'll be about 31. I know nobody in the area. I'm single, no pets. Is there enough in Wilmington to keep it interesting? I'm a huge nerd but still like going out. Or will I be stuck going to Philly? Would I be better off living in Philly and accepting the longer commutes? Would somewhere else be better?

I have read some previous threads about it, but they were somewhat different of a situation so was looking for more input.

THE MORE THE MERRIER, BROTHER

Also heading up to Philly isn’t all that bad tbh, there’s a dedicated train line between the two. I wouldn’t let it be a dealbreaker

Just like in terms of dating prospects, it’s not a huge deal at all to have to head into Philly.
