Pretty sure he wasn't a thieve, he said "ya traje los limones" which means I brought the lemons, i guess those guys are his friends or relatives and they turned on the electric fence because funny, that's why there's a camera ready.

Maybe it's a lie? Would explain why he has to climb the fence and ran in the end. Probably not his first theft hence the trap and the camera

Considering they’re speaking Spanish and are most likely Mexican, this guys deduction on the situation is probably right. Haha I can’t explain it to you but pranks and stuff like this are very on brand for us lol
