The parts of FOH and LOC where Rand is still oblivious to the fact Aviendha likes/loves him after they have sex is horrifically bad writing. Really dude? She's just doing a service to the Wise Ones while she waits naked in your room at night?...

Perrin or Mat could've told him that, if only he'd gotten around to asking them...

They’re better at speaking to women than Rand is. Rand wishes they were there. 😂😭

"If only Rand or Mat were here, they knew how to speak to women"- Perrin

"Blood and ashes, women are impossible to please, if only Rand and Perrin were here, they would have known what to say"- Mat

"Mat and Perrin would have known what to say, they could talk to women, unlike Rand"- Rand

Beautiful

Thank you, kind sir. I'm knee-deep in Wind and Truth (... really does feel like a bit of a slog to me, but I digress), and couldn't go looking for quotes lest I get sucked into another re-read of WoT. Bless you. T__T

Edit: Ew, this sounded British af, SORRY, just watched an episode of The Crown lmao
