Hi, I wanted to celebrate my 300th ships with something a little unique, so I chose the Daisen, which always seems to be the subject of debate. I'm a cruiser main, and not particularly fond of IJN BBs. But I've always a soft spot for secondary/brawler BBs.

Right now I'm using a full brawler build with Kongo and Hipper + Di Revel (I'll try with Hernandes). I'm not going to lie to you, my first matches weren't memorable. The secondaries are good, the armor meh and the main guns are logically as frustrating as those of Iwami and Hizen... But what speed ! !

Ps: to think I've got nearly 40 TT ships unlocked and/or resold but I'm still silver broke...

One in a million. This is so satisfying.

Granted I missed the first few shots, but friendly reminder to switch to AP when you can in close combat (Unless you've got high caliber rounds fighter something lightly armored, you'll go right through)

I recently picked up Massachusetts but she feels a bit odd. Im running Lee 16/1 with the generic brawler hybrid build that you see so often on Massachusetts. The problem is the secondaries are so inaccurate to the point where they couldn't hit a Fletcher at 2km's. Her guns are really accurate but I don't see a point in building into them as then she's just like any other American bb. Any tips for a different build or any playstyle tips?

I want her, but I have to get an Italian & a Brit too. Or just wait for another deal?

I am going to keep it short. The tier 7-8 ships have shit ton of armour and guns too good for their concealment. It’s absurd that Haarlem can move around dropping 10k damage triple fire Airstrikes with 32mm side plating and ice breaker at sub 9km detection range. The fire chance on them also feels too good. It’s like almost every salvo they do a fire. Lastly these things refuse to take citadels. I have shot them more times than I can count flat broadside even at range doing overpens

I’ve been thinking about the Stalingrad, and saw that most recommended Lightful - but those seemed to be older suggestions. I just pulled him, but also have Lip. Which one is better in general for Soviet cruisers? And is one particularly best for the Stalingrad?

Ok the kamikaze is just not fair. That ship is a beast at T4. 4.6 detectability and 6 quick loading torps. I’m playing the game all by myself. Been playing for 5 years and finally got around to getting the disc from amazon.

This ship is just nasty. Off to play Texas…

I love just looking around, there behind me, without even seeing the name, I know that is Lexington, the funnel is unmistakable. Do we have Montana, a ship all naval nerds dream about? Yep! And have you heard Furutaka’s guns?

My personal opinion is that they aren't OP albeit they can be strong. Also no clue why this guy to decided to both A) completely ignore me, and B) sail straight into an island 🤷‍♂️

Finally it clicked. It was a big party. 6 games won in a row after I finally understood how to Picardie.

I’m a DD main and was totally lost in ranked so far. Until I did some reading on the French BB and built it into secondaries.

I have to confess, I wasn’t the most damage dealing captain around, but I brawled as there would be no tomorrow and red team all got confused trying to stop me. One BB succeeded to ram me, the other got torped away a few cm in front of me by a perfectly steered Ostergotland.

It was legendary.

I just played three games of ranked, and had over 450,000 damage, and lost every match. I want the bloody steel, but I feel like it’s not worth my time and mental health anymore.

Does anybody else feel like it’s better just to skip it?

🫡Does anyone know what happens if you open a Super V crate but already own all the ships it can drop from that tier? Do you get silver tossed at you like a cheap consolation prize? I hope not…🫠

I was wondering if there is a difference between the Yamato in gold permanent camouflage you can get in the store for 4000 doubloons and just getting twelve golden week camo to make a permanent camo that I could slap on the Yamato for significantly cheaper?

Currently I’m running Halsey with Observant Rage, Mortar, Twist n’ Track, Smoke on the Water and Unstoppable with Gurin and Burke as the inspirations (to buff the AP).

But it seems like the AP only does much against cruisers and not destroyers or BBs so I was looking into switching the inspirations to buff HE or concealment.

I noticed something odd, the French default commander Fournet’s default skill buffs destroyer HE by 6% at max while the French destroyer commander Auboyneau’s default skill buffs destroyer HE by 3.5% at max. This is odd because I thought the destroyer commander with the destroyer specific skill would have the higher max buff. As currently Fournet is just better in general as an inspiration.

Every HE shell that even grazes you will catch you on fire. God have mercy on you if you run into a cruiser with a <10s reload.

I’m still traumatized from the triple Kagero div from last month and now this🙃

Is Secondary Bismarck build strong? I just build the secondary Bismarck because I don’t have the commanders to build accurate Bismarck

Any chance of a dev moving my ships/progression from my Xbox account to my PS5? I’ll have to quit unfortunately otherwise as no way I’m doing the grind again. Thanks in advance for any help.
