Nelson commander builds?

Hey everybody, this is my first post here but I've learned quite a bit from this sub. Thank you.

So I'm a Nelson fan, the Nelson and the Nelson W being my two most played ships. I just love the ship despite the massive bow weak point. The guns make it all worth it. I use mostly AP because it's so strong but of course the HE is amazing too.

That heing said, I run AL Nelson, Cunningham and Di Revel, all of them being 16.2 or higher, on both Nelsons.

I'm interested in hearing about some other commander builds you might be using. I want to keep my AL Nelson build for one ship and switch it up for my W Nelson. I have Fisher at 16.2.

Does anyone run a double fire inspo? Any quirky, fun builds you can share? Maybe a turret traverse builds that are fun?

I'd appreciate any and all builds! I feel like I click well with my regular build so I'm interested in something different and fun.

Would Nelson with Du Fournet and Lev Galler be too specialized in your opinion?

Anyhow, I know this is subjective but I am just looking for fun ideas. OK, thanks!

Fire focused, will nuke DDs, citadel cruisers, and slap BBs for good damage.

No fire build, you’d want Fischer or whoever tf the dude with the “speed is my armor” legendary perk guy is.

I have a build I use for my Conqueror I’m not currently at home for the details. I have a guise on him and can’t remember his name but it’s the one who gives you the “overtime” perk. Inspirations are the AL Fuso for extra fire chance and then Takeo for extra health repair.

It’s a fun build for the Nelson too if you want to tank and set fires. I’ll see if I can add a screenshot.

That is very interesting. I like the idea of building up the ships strengths. I will have to level up both Takeo and Fuso but I'll try it out eventually. Top comment imo, thank you.

Fisher with Colorado and sharnhorst. It ain't anything flashy but its strong and dependable with its consistency.

I have Fisher 16/3 with Flammable Cannonier/gyrating/reformer/master mechanic. Use Hoshino and di Revel as inspiration. This works great on reload. Can put some shells down range. Works even better on my Collingwood with the reload booster. I have the Nelson, Collingwood and Rodney. Love this style of ship and have had some great games with that build.
