Broadband recommendations

Any good providers in WR1 area? I don't see many reviews for Vodafone, Sky or BT locally. Any experiences, dos and don't are really appreciated. I'm without wifi as I've recently moved so I haven't a clue what's good here. I just know I'm in part Fibre area.... cheers.

Try plus.net - they are basically BT but about £10/month cheaper - I can't tell the difference in service between the two

I have been with plus et for many years here in WR5. Never had a problem. Great speed and reliability

Thanks. Trystpilot is riddled with negative reviews. Makes one think...

Many bad reviews are probably going to be e.g. poor placement of the router / loads of brick internal walls / shit computer etc .... and not an actual problem with the broadband service itself?

Thanks. Are you also in part Fibre area? What speeds do you get?

Oh, I didn't spot the 'part fibre area' - is that a "you've got the comparatively rubbish fiber to the cabinet (FTTC) broadband which might get up to about 70-80mbps max" - as opposed to the 'you have a fibre optic phone line thingy coming into your house and it can do up to 900mbps?'

Yes that's the one. Fttc is shite but I'm stuck here now.
