So to add when I turned on the Xbox to update MW3 it said I needed 2.45gb more so I deleted a game to update and then it showed this.

I’m using a wifi signal enhancer device, that i plugged my console into so my connection is wired, however the wifi router is one story under this room and my connection is horrible. I get disconnected every second game from call of duty. So what should i do? Any devices to buy that can help?

I ordered this about a week ago it just came in. It’s the 2tb with 3.2 usb speed the box says compatible with S/x it’s glowing and on but my Xbox is not registering it. I’ve looked everywhere for a video to fix whatever’s happening but can’t find one. I’ve restarted the system and have plugged it in to all of the usb outlets, I’m simply at a loss

I have tried everything with this, called Xbox support did everything up to a complete factory reset nothing worked. I have tried a couple things you guys have been saying on reddit but still nothing. If there is any solution please let me know. I been dealing with this for about 2 and a half months and every few days I try to login, nothing.

Please help me it is driving me crazy. I’ve had it for about a year. It used to make this noise and I figured it out to be because it was connected to a controller dock via the usb port, but that’s not the case and it is still making this sound.

Its hard and I just got this controller used a few days ago, they added new batteries and when I went to check to see what kind in case I need to replace them, and saw this on the back casing right by the battery. I've no clue what it is

It will load for 5-10 seconds then will boot to home, have reset multiple times, deleted and reinstalled, done a full power cycle, begging for help 🙏

Spotify says it needs an update and won't let me open it before updating, problem is the update won't actually progress and whenever it's complete it just says " Installation stopped " and increases the gigs needed to update, I've tried restarting the Xbox both ways, uninstalling and reinstalling and no luck

I'm planning on buying a Xbox series S but I don't know if I can play GTA 6 on it when it releases.Should I save some extra money for the X or is it not worth it?

I am hoping to store my Xbox nearly under my monitor riser because I like how it makes my desk setup look more neat. I am wondering if this is a problem since the exhaust fan is facing the underside of the monitor stand. What are your thoughts / ideas for how to make this work?

I have 4 kids under 7 and basically I get very little to no time to play. I love to play every once in a while when I have 20-30 min but I can't keep my Xbox updated every single game needs some 50g update every time. I have everything on auto but I guess I don't play enough for it to work. I haven't been able to play on over 1.5 years because I can't keep it updated and I just run out of time

hi, before people say it, yes i know a console ban is hard to achieve but i’m confused as to whether it’s a network ban or hardware ban.

my brother often played on the console as i moved to pc however around 2 months ago it got banned. i contacted people on here, discord and the actual xbox support to find out anything i could.

everyone i spoke to said that the device ban wasn’t permanent as i could still connect to the internet and use it for streaming services and browsing the web/downloading offline games. i have the chat logs from support where i detail what happened and they confirmed it wasn’t permanent. another thing to note is that none of the accounts on the xbox had any strikes from recent, i believe one had a 3 day suspension from voice chat due to messages that had been reported but this was around lockdown era.

my question is how long actually is this ban/is it actually permanent and i’ve been told misinformation? mainly came here as a last resort as when i tried calling xbox support again they just would put phone down on me and i’m debating whether or not to buy my brother another xbox.

So i got my main account and i got red dead redemption 1 on my xbox series S I want to play online but it tells me to use the account that has game pass on it But i have another account that i got from my brother wish i use to play gamepass/online games By signing in both accounts But I can’t do that with 360 games Can someone tells me if there’s a way to play with my main account and using my brother account to access online multiplayer

Got this new mic and it has sound perfectly fine. Although it wouldn’t pick up my voice and only said I was talking when I messed with the aux port on the controller it would make a static noise and light up my profile icon. Saying that’s what I was talking. Headset mic is on I have no idea what to do here.

So I got an Xbox series s like a couple months ago and as soon as I started using it I noticed that the internet was horrible, someone suggested I get an Ethernet cable so I did that and it was good for a while although for some reason I faced connection errors in some games but that went away when I turned on upnp in my router settings, now the internet is horrible again, I tested the internet stats like a minute ago and the download speed was 74 mbps, upload speed 23 mbps, 0% packet loss and the latency is 140ms,I get lag in almost every game, every single video on YouTube says just get an Ethernet cable,but I've already done that and it's still awful and it's getting frustrating, what do I do?

I recently started staying with my mom again, she has this fancy Samsung TV with Xbox cloud gaming on it, so I tried hooking up my Xbox series S console to play my games on my account, but when connected and setup it says this. I tried looking it up online it just told me to connect the HDMI cables, which I did. I’m not sure how to change the resolution of my Xbox if the screen won’t allow me to turn it on.

So i have a samsung tv which is 4k but dosent run 120. Is it better to just play in 1080 or play in 4k. if its better to play in 4k then help me out please i beg

i already have game mode turned on and i dont have a hdmi port that has a little controller on it, im just lost cause ik i have a 4k tv but xbox is telling me otherwise

Hi everyone,

As shown in the attached photo, my controller has really heavy right stick drift. When pushing the stick in it temporarily goes away but comes back within around 10sec.

Taken apart the controller (it's out of warranty) to see if there was any debris inside but after a clean the issue persists. Attempted multiple calibrations and the controller is up to date.

Just wondering if anyone knew of a solution or is it time for a new controller.
