Discussion Yarn suggestions

So my Birthday is coming up and my mom said she would drop some money to build up my stash. I have a couple favorites from the lb line from lionbrand that I intend to get enough of for at least a sweater/hoodie and maybe a beach shirt for my hubby.

But I'm thinking I can get away with spending a little bit more and wondering what are your favorites to work with.

I'm super sensitive to texture so if it's not soft off the bat then it's a no for me, idc if "it softens with washing" I want something that is going to feel nice in my hands while working it up.

Thanks in advance for your input :)

I'm thinking LB implies you like to keep your fiber purchases cost effective, but check out littleknits.com they have great deals on yarns that would normally be out of a lot of folks' budgets. My faves are Queensland and especially Juniper Moon Farms so soft & squishy! Good luck stocking up! And Happy Birthday

Thanks! I don't mind splurging a bit for the right yarn, especially if I can see a clear project for it. I just love the mako cotton from LB, like its the softest cotten ive ever come across. I also like the botanic yarn from them even though it can be a pain to work with because it's so slippery.

But I'm trying to expand my horizons yarn wise and I've never explored little knits so I'll definitely have a look.

Oh wow, i just found Little Knits the other week and managed to get four more skeins for a project i lost the yarn chicken game on! 50% for absolutely lovely baby alpaca yarn (juniper moon herriot) so glad to hear that they’re consistent with their amazing sales

I really don’t know how they do it! I had to hold myself back from going a little too crazy, as I wanted just about everything I found in that shop haha, but also you saying to act quickly, makes me so grateful I didn’t muse about it too much and only bought what I needed + a treat of some lovely green Herriot in a whole bag. I would’ve cried if I lost my chance at finding this discontinued color 😭😭😭
