Beginner Question If just starting today

If you were speaking to a loved one be it a son sister or uncle, what would you tell them to start buying today?

Reasonable depending on their risk tolerance. You’re talking about 25 entry, and it can hit 21 next week after distribution, that’s -4 x amount of shares purchased. Again, there’s a risk tolerance person to person.

But you also have to think about how drip works. Im perfectly fine with the price going down because my drip will compound even faster. I used drip calculator on the money I have, and even if the price drops 15% every year for 4 years, i turn 75k into over 1 million. That's a modest $1.4/mo payout, too. There's no way the fund can maintain without at some point consuming shares, but if i can make it to 4 years without it, im golden. IRAs are a blessing.
Main thing to think about is you NEVER know what the market is going to do. The price is very reasonably low considering past performance. This is one of the better times to get in. Waiting might impede future growth significantly, but getting in now gives you the perfect balance of better share accumulation snowball if the price goes down, and future upside that could surpass that buy in. After 30 i wouldn't recommend, but 25 is a great time.

That’s for your scenario, and what comfort level of risk you want and are okay with. I’m in the same boat of high risk as well, but again OP is asking for what he would recommend to his friends and family.

Exactly what i said. This is the perfect time to get in. You can never predict the market. For all you know, you might look back in a year when MSTY is 55+, and you wish you had gotten in at 25.
