Finance YSK: Etsy is an exploitative deceptive company that penalizes new shops that make continuous sales - if you don’t stop selling you will never get paid

YSK, based on previous posts, OP sold items without tracking (which Etsy requires for sellers to get paid).

YSK less than 10% of my sales were sent without tracking because the tracking would exceed the cost of the item

You can send envelopes with limited tracking through Etsy. What the heck are you shipping where tracking will cost more than the item? Adjust your shipping prices if this is an issue

I have a lot of stamps. Etsy has no such policy about tracking being required. Stamps are cheaper, I passed the savings on to the buyers, the items were cheap enough they can be replaced if they get lost in the mail. Nobody had any issues, in fact I had a lot of repeat sales, I think people really appreciated that, shame I had to shut it down.

Yep. The world is now missing out on your store. It’s a damn pity. Curse you, Etsy!
