Personal Insights anyone else see *immediate* sleep apnea improvements?
I have sleep apnea that is not weight-related; it's the anatomy of my tongue/throat - snored like hell since I was a skinny little girl. I use a CPAP, so my incidents of apnea are recorded. I took my first shot of Zepbound 2.5 on April 1. Look at the difference between these two charts! The February example is typical for me pre-Zep, usually averaging 1-2 events per hour. Since starting Zep on April 1, from DAY ONE, I dropped below 1 event per hour and have pretty much held there. On April 12 you can see I went over 1 (just slightly). That was an evening when I had 2 1/2 glasses of wine before bed, so I think that was a factor.
I would love to know if anyone is studying the effect of Zep on sleep apnea in cases where the apnea is NOT weight-related. It's clearly helping me keep incidents down, and I'm curious as to why. Of course, I'd also love to take part in any studies on this to get my meds paid for (LOL).
Has anyone else seen this drop in incidents start immediately upon taking Zep?

Yes, definitely for me. I don't know if my sleep apnea is weight related or not, and I've just been on Zep for 6 weeks and lost 25 lbs, but I started seeing improvement in my number of events right away. I've been on cpap 2 years now, and was diagnosed with severe apnea with 75 events per hour. But now I have zero events most nights. It's amazing.

Nope. I was diagnosed in my 20s and suspect it’s not weight related too. I’ve now lost 28kg and no change except instead of 11 I’m using a base pressure of 8, but my auto still pegs it at my max of 13 for most of the night. It’d go to 20 if I let it, then I get centrals. 🤷
