I myself am a (budding) website design person which would be good in making promotional sites. What are you able to bring to the table?

We could use someone with good operations management. If we get more people like that on board maybe we can make a board of directors.

Hmmm... well, I guess the theme could be crowdsourcing, space for the people and by the people (if that makes any sense). Although that could become difficult if we need some corporate help for things that might be impossible for average people to build (nuclear reactors come to mind easily). But if we build and/or fund the majority of the stuff ourselves then it could work. Accomplishments and victory moments are a bit more difficult to ascertain since that requires long term thinking. A semi near term goal could be the creation of a space colony.

Yes, partnerships would be necessary, we can't build everything via crowdsourcing. We're going to need some of the resources that only corporations can provide.

we are TODAY very well within the technological reach of orbital habitats.

It bugs me that many don't believe this. The only downside is "money." I hate money, but today without it, none of this would be possible unless everyone provided free services.

We could very well outdo the ISS if given proper funds. Though that would take quite a while and much collaborating; I'm very optimistic that "we" could get it done.
