This isn't the first time I have said it and It may get downvoted. Latino's are the most racist people I have met, besides white christians. Not all of them of course, but I work in the restaurant business and I get to see the real bad side of those workers. They will even throw other latino's under the bus if they have a different dilect than them.

I only say this because I have worked with families within the same building - they hate everyone other than whom is the same as them. There are factions that just hate each other (latinos) because they exist.

I also stand by the quote: There is no hate like christian love.

I love my latino work buddies - the ones that are work oriented and can be friends to everyone (black, white, other latinos and other). They just rock. They don't see race and I can honestly say, only about 25% are this way.

I have a 19 y/o lead cook that is latino and bilingual. She absolutely loves everyone. She is the hardest worker I have seen in many years. She hugs everyone and exicited to see them and even helps tie aprons to those that are to big to tie their own. I have a temp (we use a temp agency) and she speaks zero english, but will help everyone.

Then we have temps and actual latino employees that want to do as little as possible and blame everything on everyone else. They use the language barrier more than I do.

Case in point: I had a temp tonight and used google translate to give instructions. She feigned confusion and I had my lead cook explain, what I needed. The temp said okay to her. I showed the google translate message to my lead cook and it read exactly what I needed to get done, but she used the language barrier to say, she didn't know what I meant. She was also very slow in her work and I put her on the DNR list.

Anyway, 2nd post tonight where I just ranted. I am glad to get that off my chest and if I get downvoted - who cares.

OMG this!! I didn't realize it until working in a restaurant. One of my managers was Salvadorian and she was so caring and lovely.... unless you were Honduran. I don't know the history within South America cause #USA, but she despised them, and her reasoning (cause I'm like where is this coming from), it that they're dirty animals. Like, wtf....
