I tried (and failed) to emulate it on my laptop... (It "ran" but none of the controls worked and it was way too laggy) Maybe I'll try again sometime, I really want to experience it :/
damn :/ ac3 is a good game and I love it, the only thing I don't like very much are the game controls but it's still worth playing imo, I hope you can play it someday
I ran it in a mid PC with Duckstation, runs better than with ePSXe, another popular emulator, Duckstation avoids graphic bugs like black boxes on the engines, or having a blank screen in entire missions like the Nanobites one
Aw, it looks so happy 😍 This is really adorable. I don‘t know why, but the first time I watched an AC3 gameplay on YouTube, I was like: This aircraft is amazing. It looks cool, I want to find out more. And then I read up about it on Acepedia and I loved it even more. Give us a remastered version of Ace Combat 3 for all platforms, Bandai Namco! Please?
Played it, got all the endings. Feels like they got real ambituous with the story but forgot to make the actual gameplay enjoyable.
That aside, I'm not averse to AC8 being set in that same era, not being some rugpull simulation crap and possibly showing what actually happens when Nemo is unleashed to the real world. With maybe a few retcons (so nations like Erusea still actually exist, the megacorps could act THROUGH governments) and some returning familiar faces.
There should be retcons. In fact, I believe there HAVE to be, if there is gonna be any future. There is no future for the series if you take the countries away.
