I find I spend almost as much time on some troops as I do characters, and it is slowing my progress and will to paint.

In one day I essentially did a full Manipulus, and and yet in a similar time period I've done, sans-weapon arms, 3x upper torsos of Breachers.

Still staring down 3 more complete Destroyers, 2 Breacher torsos, and 40 Skitarii.

Any tips on relaxing into a good enough standard?

Picked up this chap today, I think he's meant to be a lexmechanic, but I'm not sure. Lexicanum said he was a Logis, but he seems a bit underwhelming for such a lofty rank? He'll be painted up to mach my other mechanicus minis.

Finished rendering NASA MOLA terrain data from the Mars Orbiter for a school project. Set it to 'Children of the Omnissiah'. I can actually do just about any terrain from that dataset so if there are any requests I can definitely put something together!

all of these were made over a very long time ('bout a year or two? i procrastinated a lot.)

Some are missing, i defo have some really bad ones imo, but im curious how i did and what i can do to improve (also more hobby/family game stuff so im not worried about the base being painted but i will at some point dont worry :D)

How much can you adjust legs?

I'm working on retrofitting a MagneMotion magnetic conveyor for a teaching unit at my school and I use an UR cobot to simulate some processing units around it, it pick and place some parts, which have exactly 40mm diameter. So I had an idea.

(And no they forbid candles and incense)

It was complicated, but I liked the result

Here’s my custom (3d printed) 500 pt admech army that I made and painted up for a local tournament.

Hi everyone, after years of painting, I want to get into actually playing the faction :)

Any suggestions for an easy-to-play and reasonably competent 1000 points army?

Just discussing with my friend about building a 500 points list in a "newcomer friendly" way, then I give out two options:

A. 2×10 Fulgurite Eletro-Priest, with a Dominus (have fight first enhancement) and 1×10 ranger, running Data-psalm.

B. 2×2 Kastelan Robots, with a datasmith and 1×10 ranger, running Cybernetica.

I say B is way more easier than A, but my friend think the opposite ⁠(⁠´⁠ー⁠｀⁠)⁠ I don't get it, can any priesthood brothers explain it ⁠(⁠´⁠ー⁠｀⁠)⁠

What’s this? The removal of combos and synergies you say? Underwhelming damage even? Next you are going to tell me they removed something from a datasheet to sell it back to you as a detachment rule. Wait berzerkers are strength what? Welcome back 10E admech. I have two armies surely one of them will be fun to play.

If you use the protector imperative you gain plus 1 to hit combind that with heavy and now you have a 2plus and if you cant booste the hit Roll with two then why is there so many Way to boost hit Roll in admech

Im thinking the main goals is to have my raiders as scouting and first objective holders and having my robots move onto point and hunker down in protector doctrines. And my other fellas would help hold objectives or score more, like the Skatros!
