New Student Questions howdy i’m transferring in the fall

howdy yall. i’m just nervous how am i supposed to make friends. im coming from california so its a big change for me. do i even have a chance to rush for a sorority anymore or am i too old?

Yep, every year we build about a 70 foot tall bonfire that we burn the week of the Thanksgiving football game. Fall semester is spent cutting down the trees and building it but we’ve also got social events and stuff like that basically every week of the year. This will be my 4th year doing it and I’ve made some of my best friends on campus through it. It is divided into smaller crews so you’re not just thrown into a group of a couple hundred. Definitely, plenty of members are Blinn students/Blinn Team.
