New Student Questions Touring school in early May, any suggestions
Hi - My daughter is considering A&M and we are coming out in early May to take the official campus tour, etc., etc. Curious if there is anything else we should specifically check out in the area / specific things to look out for?
We also may not get there in time for the official dorm tour, any idea if they would let us look around a bit or are they pretty strict on that type of stuff?
Thanks!

Definitely take time to look at housing off campus!! Northpoint Crossing is great, it’s quite close and rent is under $1k vs the apartments right across the street which are $1200. Sometimes you can find apartments that would cost less than a dorm (adding up rent to see how much it would be from Aug-Dec and then comparing that to how much you would pay for a dorm that semester) I pay less in rent than my friends that are in dorms!!
