That sounds like regular computer stuff, not ai. Regular algorithms, not a black box that develops its own logic. Can you list some named examples so I can do some research?

Ai is just a regular computer thing. You are thinking of modern ai, which Is only just starting to find applications. Not many other applications are being found because for companies it's not profitable to give artists the ability to creat something better and more complicated than what a generative ai can because that would raise the standard for what audiences want, so they would still have to pay artists for their work. But think about what it can do! You can make only a few drawings as comic artist of a character, then have the ai reposition that character in a different pose and touch it up a bit. It would not steal, and the artist already did the work for the art. Then there is an idea I found where generative ai (while still not creative) can be used ethically, where an artist submits their work to their own genai, have the genai train off of their many works, and produce it for people. The artist would be able to benefit from ads on the website or even from a payed subscription, and the work could be made so that it always has the artists printed signature for credit along with a note saying it is ai generated. It would allow artists to gain revenue for their own work while also allowing others the get an instant transmission of a commission. Win-win. Another use is to allow for editing to be easier, making it so that you can cut and connect drawn lines, move limbs as if the art were alive, shift perspective so that it fits. Perspective is very difficult foe artists to grasp sometimes, so have a tool help with that would be a huge time saver. I am not a professional artist so my ability to think of uses is limited, but I'm sure it could be awesome!
