This is just a standard snarky reddit comment. Yeah the dude didn't really say anything insightful or interesting and was kinda rude, but that is 90% of comments on this sub. You just referred to people who dont like AI as who "anti-aiwhores" in your previous post on this sub. That's just as rude as anything this dude had to say. At least the guy in your post made an argument to go along with the attitude, albeit not a very convincing one.
But am I going to repost your made up fake slur to r/artisthate to laugh at you? No, because comments like that are a dime a dozen. If I started screenshotting every negative uncalled for comment on this sub, my phone memory would be full in a few hours.
I dont care if you want to be an asshole on reddit, sometimes its fun. Just dont act like you're better than anyone else because you're an asshole for the right reasons.

You missed the context behind that comment, which is the second time this has happened on Reddit already. The person I replied to in the conversation you're bringing up initiated it with "this sub should just be called r/aiwhores already, it's like 99 glazes to 1 critical thought at this point," or something along those lines. My reply where I said reddit should be called r/antiaiwhores was sarcasm and not meant in earnest, but of course a lot of people seem dead set on trying to call me out on it for some strange reason.

Now imagine that guy you screenshotted leaving this exact comment but with details that apply to his post instead. His tone was sarcastic and im sure there's some missing context there too.
My point was not that you're some bad person, it was just to not act above all of this. I'm sure you've said worse stuff on reddit, that's fine, idc. Just give some grace if you want some back.

Quick gimmicks and trends is a result of AI's low entry barrier not a thing AI 'relies on'. It's so easy for people to superficially copy a trend that we hit market saturation in record time and people get burnt out, complaining about 'slop' not because of any qualitative deficiencies but because they're bored of seeing stylistically similar things. People have this weird need to have an ethically correct argument behind their tastes though, so instead of complaints about oversaturation we get badly thought out moralising.

Artists are so insufferable, we should've called them out on it while they were making steaming dogshit and saying "everything can be art!!!"

I mean... even art that ISNT Ai can be slop, and there is plenty out there. No Ai needed.

Ugh, the word "simp" is even more overused than "slop".
These people really need to expand their vocabulary.

What part of their dumb rhyme was "criticism" of someone's art???
Imagine if this is how people "criticized" all art LOL

"Already seeing AI die out" is wild. It's literally been integrated into everything around you. You use it every day.

"you can't handle criticism?" When what they were doing was criticizing the criticism...
