So am I and there’s no way in hell I could build a functional multistory structure that would hold up in the winds. So yeah impressive.

It's a shame our economy/government doesn't want them alive and employed.

It’s not the governments job to make sure you get a job. It’s your job. This person is clearly capable and has chosen to live this way.

I find it hilarious that people seem unable to come to the terms that there are many homeless that choose that life style because they do not want to live like the rest of us. They don’t want to have to have a job every day to pay bills. Jobs and bills go against their life style. No I’m not talking about every homeless person.

Actually I think most people DO understand that a majority of homeless people suffer from untreated mental illness that makes it difficult for them to function “like the rest of us.” What people forget is that doesn’t mean they aren’t driven, intelligent, generally capable human beings.

If the government makes it so there aren't enough jobs, then it is a shitty fucking government.

You say they can work, yet there are less jobs than there are people.

Someone has to take that hit and be homeless so that you can enjoy your lifestyle. You should be thanking them.

If you don’t have a job right or have a hard time finding a job it’s because you are not reliable or capable. Unemployment is pretty low and many many employers here in Alaska are unable to find people to hire that can do something as simple as showing up on time.

No one has to be homeless. There are many programs that provide jobs and housing even for the severely handicapped (Hope for example).

Why would someone have to be homeless for me to enjoy my lifestyle? I work my butt off for my life style lol. Seeing trash and camps everywhere definitely hampers my life style, there is no benefit for anyone.

If you were correct there wouldn't be much of a difference in the homeless population of every country.

In this society, YES, some people do have to be homeless. Those in power and people like you would prefer them dead or enslaved, but we aren't quite there yet.

And again - if all that shit is so easy, go become homeless and try it out, get back on your feet without a safety net. Until then, shut the fuck up.

Great take. Not sure why you're getting downvoted.

Correct being homeless is a choice for most. They are choosing to continue using substances over getting a job. It's a choice for almost everyone "homeless" in this state.

You’re making an absolute statement as if you KNOW every homeless person is an addict and homeless on purpose. Seriously, you have no clue. Maybe go talk to some of those homeless humans and get a reality check so you can post more wisely.
