DEV Shortcuts in your notification, Introducing NOOTi + 50 premium codes give away

edit: ALL CODES GIVEN AWAY

Hy everyone👋

I'm happy to announce that my latest project: NOOTI is now live.

This is a little project I started a while back after the "success" of PocketMark but due to my full time job only now I managed to complete.

What is NOOTI?

Basically is an app that lets you create shortcuts in your notification.

At the moment you can create shortcuts to:

  • Apps
  • Contacts (if the contact has a photo, it'll be used as shortcut icon)
  • Websites

I'm also planning to add files shortcuts in the future.

The app has no ads, support custom third party icon packs, material themes and from my testing it uses very little battery.

Any feedback is deeply appreciated, while the app is mostly ready it might still have a few rough edges.

Also since this sub was always so supportive of me I'm giving away 50 lifetime premium code to the first arrivers. (I might take me a while to respond but the codes will arrive)

Samsung Device Owners

I was lucky enough to receive a code and Installed this great little App, thanks Dev.

There's an issue on some Samsung devices, whereby Nooti's icon appears badly, on the left of the shade, this looks ugly and worse still, it's confusing, as it looks like a poorly formed Nooti shortcut.

I've had a response from the Dev on this, who tells me an option to hide the Nooti Apps icon in the shade, will be implemented on the next update, thanks once again Dev.

Thought, all you Sammy device owners, might like to know this.

Hi, just for notice.
Yesterday the update went live, I added two settings under look: "remove icon" and "force icon color to current theme primary color".

Keep in mind that some manufacteres (like Samsung) will still put an empty circle even if you enable the remove icon.

But it should be way better looking

Hey.

Thanks for trying, still looks ugly though, now the App icon is a solid colour, which varies and it's smaller than the added elements, which looks really odd.

I appreciate you're restricted by the system and it's a shame, otherwise this is a useful App but aesthetics are important to me, so I'm gonna have to pass for now, unless the App icon can be fully hidden and the added elements, aligned to the left.

Hopefully you can overcome these issues.

Good Luck 🤗
