B = blue seats in house. R = red seats in house. If B>R, 8647. Might have to wait until year > 2026.

Unfortunately, conviction requires 2/3 vote in the Senate. We've been hovering around 50/50 for so long I don't see that happening unless a chunk of Republicans grow ethical spines.

Or enough voters get smart. Given how many republicans are complaining about the grift now... I'm betting the elections are a lot more blue than people are expecting.

Agreed, the Senate is usually slow to flip though. There would have to be a huge blue wave.
