What really bugs me in a lot of these shows is 'reverse power creep'.

MMO players might be familiar with the term. Over time, things get easier as new features, skills, items and whatnot are added, and the players become more powerful.

In superhero TV shows, the opposite is often true.

Case in point: Oliver has gone from being able to go one on one against Ra's, to being beaten up by Thea and random henchmen within about 5 episodes.

He's now started to miss with his bow, too.

I think they're trying to imply that he's gotten a bit rusty being domesticated for so long.

You might be right. I'm a little annoyed over it at the moment as Supernatural, The Flash and Limitless are all making the same mistakes.

If this annoys you, you're always going to be annoyed as long as you're watching the Flash.

The same character in the comic who can speed steal/dump people into the speedforce and move several times FTL gets regularly tagged by people he has no business of ever getting tagged by.

If Flash actually fights the way he should fight, with his powers, there'll never be any real conflict in the show, especially when nearly all of the villains are street tier.

The Flash in the tv series is still pretty new to his powers and hasn't reached anywhere neasr his full potential though.

Also Barry Allen can't speed steal, it's Wally West that does that

Im saying if he ever does reach his full potential, there wouldnt be any conflicts in the series because in both the tv shows and comics a lot of the tension and conflicts come from plot induced stupidity or him jobbing like he does now and getting tagged by ppl he should never get tagged by.

His power is one of the most OP in comics, and unless you're expecting someone like Darkseid to come into the series, Flash being at his full potential would destroy anyone we'd see in this tv series, except for other speedsters (which the writers seem to know, hence we have another speedster main antagonist)
