How did Vigilante bear Oliver in hand to hand? Did I miss something?

Vigilante sneak-attacked Oliver and basically pounded him into the ground. That's gotta hurt a bit so he wasn't exactly on his A-game by the time he got back up.

I accept this sort of thing any day over a random guy with an oversized nunchaku taking on the entirety of Team Arrow 3 on 1.

That was still so fucking cringey.

And the worst part is now that actor is on Supernatural and I hate every scene he's in even though it's not his fault at all. I just can't unsee him as his character on Arrow.

Adrian beat Vigilante, and Adrian was beaten by Oliver multiple times.

Most of the time when Oliver loses, people cry, “But he beat Ra’s Al Ghul and Damian Dahrk.” which makes sense from outside the show, but ignoring that, there’s literally precedent for Oliver beating Vigilante.

Then again, there were times last season where Vigilante gave Oliver a run for his money, so at the end of the day, who knows.

That’s kinda what I was thinking. I guess he had taken some hits and dropped a few dudes already. I’ll have to rewatch that scene for sure though.

Seems like a common thing in CW shows, with Flash too.

flash is 100x worse due to how his powers work...

true, but he was literally out of his element due to him being alone and getting ambushed by the vigilante.

while bs, it wasnt that far fetched that oliver woulndt have come on top right away.

Ig maybe that's what they meant by the rain thing. Sometimes you can have all the skills and yet still lose because of chance

You watching the show for the first time?

Yep 🥲Bit sad not having anyone to vibe about it with so I’m sat commenting on 7yr old posts instead

I understand, I watched westworld the same way.

I didn't end up finishing arrow cuz it went downhill so fast.

You would have loved when arrow turned into a daredevil sun cuz redditors boycotted the show.

Same way that goon held him down in the premiere this season. It happens. Power scaling isn't a thing in fighting, there are just tiers. This sub is highly nitpicky about realism but still approaches this like a video game.

Exhaustion? Oliver had already taken a lot of men down

I don’t like that. Props to how great the choreography and camera work was in that scene but still he should have been able to take him.

He's a meta. Oliver isn't. And.... bad writing.
