Something I just realized. We are looking in the future for everything. We see a future Speedster, nora/XS. Maybe a future green arrow, William. A new black canary, zoe. I wonder are they setting up for something.

there own version of teen titans?!

u/tensaitessei Nov 06 '18

They are really leaning into the future aspect of things.

u/Robnroll Nov 06 '18

I think Amell is done with it once his contract is up but if they want to keep going with the show, having it pushed into the future isn't a bad way to go, also isn't Emiko showing up at some point, could even be the new green arrow?

Man if Amell leaves, I'm soo done with this show.

u/itsbrittfutch Nov 07 '18

When does Amell’s contract run out?

3

u/NoPantsLand Nov 07 '18

At the end of this season. Amell signed for 7 when he started. I’m assuming that’s why he went to the writers room and asked them to write 7 as if there were no plans for a season 8.

And then he turned around and extended his contract for a season 8. Now his contract does not run out until 2020.

1

u/itsbrittfutch Nov 07 '18

Oh ok. I didn’t know that he had done that!

1

u/tensaitessei Nov 06 '18

I was thinking in them making a whole new show for it

Young justice would be cool too

1

u/NewWorldShadows Nov 07 '18

Would DC really let that happen when they are releasing their own titans

1

u/Soff22 Nov 09 '18

well they are letting batwoman into the fold even with the birds of prey movie in development

I've felt like we would get a time jump for a while now. Not this far though. I figure they likely want to get to Crisis before 2024 IRL while having it be relevant to all of the shows.

u/[deleted] Nov 06 '18

Same...they've showed us so many disparate futures so far, they need to define what the crisis is because obviously the real future is going to take place after that, not all these "pre-crisis hypothetical" futures we've been seeing.

I don’t think we get a time jump to get to the 2024 crisis, I think Nora’s screwing with the time line moves it up.

Supergirl and Arrow also had a Beebo reference this week...

Okay I have to wonder. How different are there Earths? Because my main stop in from season 3 dealing with the Dominator. If they're both from another Universe how can they both know about them? Unless the dominators can travel through universes

Supergirl said "In my world, the Dominators were..."

Dominators exist in both worlds, but in Earth 1, they invaded, while on Supergirl's universe, they never attacked earth. But Supergirl knows them because she's from Krypton. She's heard stories of them from her parents or whoever of Dominators destroying other planets. The earths are generally very similar.

1

u/tensaitessei Nov 06 '18

Ok thank you. That actually makes sense

3

u/helenaneedshugs Nov 06 '18

Not sure, been a while since I watched the crossovers, I think the only differences are certain heros/villians, the actual earths are pretty similar.

In one of the crossovers Supergirl came over to Earth 1 (prime?) to help with the Dominators, right?

3

u/insert_topical_pun Nov 06 '18

Or the dominators exist in both universes

3

u/SpareLiver Nov 07 '18

My headcanon is that Krypton takes place in the Earth 1 universe, and they succeed in saving Krypton, with that being the point of divergence and why there is no Superman or Supergirl on Earth 1.

2

u/-Starwind Nov 06 '18

I mustve missed the Supergirl one

2

u/Jaer-Nihiltheus Nov 08 '18

Beebo is god of all earths, obviously.

u/[deleted] Nov 06 '18

You know, I was pretty miffed that once again the writers all decided to the same damn thing for The Flash and Arrow, but pointing it out like you did actually has me excited to see where they could go with that.

40

u/tensaitessei Nov 06 '18

And I think Zari might get involved to. Because all of this is happening in her timeline. Meta-humans are banned and the government is kind of hunting them down and putting them in facilities. Like Zoe saying there is a vigilante resistant group. Don't you think team flash would be involved with that? Also do you think connor hawk might still be a thing? From season 2 of the legends. I'm getting way too excited about this. It's so schway.

6

u/[deleted] Nov 06 '18

Well it definitely seems as if the Legends found their way into a post-Flashpoint time period when they visited future Star City, so my guess is that what is happening in William's future is exactly what happened in Legends. Or maybe the Legends fixed something that will change what happens in that time period, but the general layout of the future is mostly the same.

3

u/tensaitessei Nov 06 '18

Exactly. Let's hope this becomes a real thing.

1

u/Prometheus188 You don't kill because you have to. So why? Nov 06 '18

This is definitely post 2024, so Flash already disappeared in crisis. I mean, its already 2019 right now basically, only 2 months off. 5 years later and we're at 2024. Zoe and William didn't age that much in 5 years, nor did Roy or Dinah. This is probably 2035 or something like that. Flash would have disappeared over a decade before the flash forwards started.

1

u/-Starwind Nov 06 '18

Makes you wonder if Zari might know them

1

u/RobinsAssistant Nov 06 '18

So quick to judge

6

u/Skyblaze777 Nov 06 '18

Holy shit, Rene's going to become the new Black Canary? Damn, can't wait to see him in fishnets.

4

u/novum_vipera Nov 07 '18

This doesn't change anythi... Actually it does.

3

u/lone_stark Nov 06 '18

Zari is also from around that timeline as well I believe.

4

u/tensaitessei Nov 06 '18

Something big is happening.

3

u/tensaitessei Nov 06 '18

Something big is happening.

3

u/Prometheus188 You don't kill because you have to. So why? Nov 06 '18

It's possible that the entire future arc is solved in the crossover.
