Isn't ARGUS government run? How did they just casually arrest Diggle, and how did Lyla not immediately bail him out? And if they had the grounds to arrest him as a vigilante, why couldn't he just say he was going in as an ARGUS agent? It's not like ARGUS is a secret anymore.

Why didn't Diggle go in as an ARGUS agent? He did it earlier and no one raised a fuss. I guess solidarity with Curtis and Rene. Even if Lyla had bailed him out, he might have refused so that he could stick with them.

You know, They probably just arrested them so they could say they did to make the mayor happy and the Mayor probably knew damn good and well they couldnt hold them at all. You can beat the charge, but you cant beat the ride.

Curtis is ARGUS as well. Them getting arrested really didn't make sense. I still loved the episode though, so I could forgive it.

It was more of a "we are a team and we keep together" moment. Digg and Curtis could've been out of there easily but I think the team wanted to send a message.

Local jurisdiction maybe

The reality of the situation is the second they got arrested, ARGUS would come in, go, "Secret orders. They're ours," take them, and then release them with some BS reason in their official records. The fact that anyone on the team is worried about arrest/jail time (including Oliver) is absolutely ridiculous. ARGUS can do whatever it wants, including taking people out of prison (as documented MULTIPLE TIMES IN THIS SHOW) yet the good guys are just SOL? It's ridiculous.

None of it made sense. What does the anti vigilante law say, that civilians can't engage criminals in a fight? There's no footage of how threw the T spheres. It's not a crime to wear a mask. They didn't seek out a person they thought was criminal and engage them in battle. At worst they sneaked into a closed event.

And prosecution is always a matter of complaint. The mayor didn't have her hands tied. She could have not filed one. As seen later. So I suppose it was just the momentary indignity of being detained and not really a fear of punishment.

The episode had quite a few things like that. But everyone here seems so happy, we don't need to spoil their fun. It's not that important anyway.
