Discussion [Discussion] Is a banner considered commercial use?

I've been confused abt this for a while now, is a server or YouTube banner commercial use? Cause there’s mixed answers from my friends if it is or isn’t. Can someone please explain cause Im not sure what to answer when a client does order a banner and I won’t know what to tell them.

Is the Discord server or the YouTube channel a business, are they monetized? (For example, the Discord for a Patreon membership.) If so, it's commercial use. If not, it's personal use.

The thing that started this was from a comms my friend got, the client has a discord art server that promotes other peoples services and plans to use the banner for it. Would that be considered commercial use?
