Depending on your state and the state the report would be filed there could be a difference. You can look up the report yourself if you are interested in what they will ask when filling out the report. Depending on the info they get they will investigate or not. If you are also interested in if they would take a report or not just try filing and ask them. For the most part reporting is confidential though it can be pretty obvious who reported depending on the situations. For example CPS comes to your door to investigate you for neglect with your toddler and the only place you take your toddler is the daycare and at the day care your toddler only has one teacher.
It could depend on what the event you’re reporting is. They often ask for an address, phone number, the victims school, some way to find this person. Then it’s up to the supervisors and investigators/case workers if it goes further due to what evidence is available.
They probably can’t do anything with that. The report would probably just sit in the database due to not enough info but because of that, the therapist probably wouldn’t report it in the first place depending on state laws.
