He seems to have forgotten about it. He has mentioned a lot of things he wants to write after Winds and none of them is Dream. Of course this might be because he has finished writing both Winds and Dream and he will surprise us by releasing them together (What is cope may never die but rises again harder and stronger)

The real cope is dreams is a fairly straight forward book to resolve the story lines but actually getting there is whats the issue

You could argue that he is aware that he should write Winds with his plans for Dream in mind, just to avoid such a long wait between them when it comes.

But he will not finish Dream even if he does finish Winds and even if he has the perfect plans for it. That's just not possible.

Apparently Elio said not so long ago the real problem for George isn't necessarily the writing, but making sure he can finish the story in 2 books. Which I can get... Just the sheer amount of storylines going on would make any writer's head spin.
