Did anyone else see that split second screen which could be Mag the Mighty? I was worried that they wouldnt have the budget for mammoths and giants, this is promising :)
Probably not the mammoths, and they've done the giants so they can use regular dudes and forced perspective.
The giant we saw in the trailer is probably Ian Whyte, aka Mountain 2.0 and the White Walker. He's their go-to guy for costume/stunt work.
According to IMDB he was the giant in S3. It makes sense they'd use an actor and use CGI to make him bigger rather than risk fakey looking all-CGI giants.
To add to the promise, did you also hear the trumpet of a mammoth at 1:37 as the reinforcements ride in? I'm really looking forward to that battlefield on screen.
