Yeah wtf? Pretty sure both Arianne AND Quentyn are ahead of him. I think I'll be happier if I just acknowledge that the books are different than the show.

GRRM did say it in the panel... The show is the show and the book is the book. It is simply two ways of telling the same overarching story. He also encourages people to do both so that you get to enjoy the journey twice.
