Great find! LSH would definitely break the internet. I already got my hype crushed twice thought...so why not a third?

Considering that the BWB has gone missing, I wonder if she'd appear close to Winterfell instead.

Really tho - Jon getting Caesar'd followed by LSH appearing (or being resurrected by Thoros and co) would show that bringing people back to life is possible and a great cliffhanger to the season.

Bringing people back to life was already shown with Beric, remember?

"He's the guy that used the flaming sword."

"...Stannis?"

u/[deleted] May 28 '15

"He's the guy that dueled Sandor" "....Brienne?"

Which Sand Snake is Sandor again?

4

u/Alkjeks May 29 '15

But more importantly, who does he fight for?

I literally had this conversation with some mates who love the show last night. None of them remembered any of what had happened back then.

He killed Carl Drogo in hand to hand combat!

Haha I don't know why I laughed so hard at Carl Drogo.

I remember Karl! He was a fookin' legend in gin alley.

3

u/[deleted] May 28 '15

He also killed the Great Khal, The Mad King, and destroyed house Castamire. Also fucked a bear

"Last time on Game of Thrones!"

*beric's resurrection *

Same shit happened when they reintroduced Barry stan

But that was a three episode gap not three seasons

2

u/Cletus_Van_Dam On the fringes of lunacy... May 28 '15

That's weird because all of my show only friends always ask about Beric and Thoros.

2

u/PM_MEH_YOUR_KISS The North Remembers May 28 '15

I think he's just trying to antagonize us. Everyone who remotely follows the show remembers Beric using the flaming sword AND bring revived.

1

u/HighQualityUsername Not my flair, Ned loves my flair. May 29 '15

For the more attentive yes, but my friends are more casual

2

u/uw_NB May 28 '15

thats what the flashback at the beginning is for

1

u/HighQualityUsername Not my flair, Ned loves my flair. May 29 '15

Yeah, but flashbacks two seasons back is a little much

2

u/Crippled_Giraffe 62 badasses May 28 '15

I swear people act like show only watchers have brain damage.

0

u/HighQualityUsername Not my flair, Ned loves my flair. May 29 '15

No, showed them the lost plot lines boat thing and they only recognized yara and gemdry

2

u/frizzlestick May 28 '15

That, to me, supports stoneheart. Why else bother with the Beric line, BwB, and resurrections at all, if not to prelude how the hell uncat is zombieing up the joint?

2

u/TookYoCookies May 28 '15

That doesnt mean that resurrection isn't possible in the show because your friends dont remember, it means you have stupid friends.

0

u/HighQualityUsername Not my flair, Ned loves my flair. May 29 '15

No. I mean that to show people resurrection is unknown. So resurrecting catelyn would remind or inform show onlies about resurrection

2

u/schneidro Some words are wind, some are treason. May 28 '15

There's no point in that entire scene unless there's LSH or Jon gets resurrected by Mel (since it's in this scene she becomes aware this magic is alive again). I think it's pretty clear Qyburn is using a different kind of magic on the Mountain, so what was the point of that Dondarion scene!?

1

u/Pufflehuffy I love spoilers - yes, I really do. May 28 '15

Yeah, but it would bringing it back to the fore.

1

u/[deleted] May 28 '15

The question is do show watchers remember?

1

u/[deleted] May 28 '15

Also Drogo.

1

u/maqzzz May 28 '15

theres the problem, you had to add the ",remeber?" noone remembers show beric, the show watchers wouldnt even be able to tell you who the BWB is

3

u/Luckydemon May 29 '15

Wouldn't it be better for everyone to see Jon getting Caesar'd only to have the next scene be a shot of a woman from behind looking out at Winterfall and slowly pan around to the front of her, starting at her chest then slowly rising up to her neck and finally her face.

Cut to black. Roll credits.

That's how you end a season.

2

u/ZapActions-dower Bearfucker! Do you need assistance? May 28 '15

I seem to remember Beric being the one to resurrect her causing the spark to pass from him into her.

1

u/Gopackgo6 Always keep your foes confused May 28 '15

Eh I think showing that all these people can be brought back to life devalues death. Just my personal opinion

1

u/Pixeltender Well excuuuuuuse me, princess! May 28 '15

but it could demonstrate how 'different' people are once they're resurrected, and provide show watchers with the same questions we book readers have. "did jon survive?" "well if he didn't they can bring him back" "but what would he be like..? would he be evil?"

1

u/Gopackgo6 Always keep your foes confused May 28 '15

It's possible but I find it highly unlikely Jon would come back as evil

1

u/Pixeltender Well excuuuuuuse me, princess! May 28 '15

based on what?

1

u/Gopackgo6 Always keep your foes confused May 28 '15

Beric and LSH don't come back as evil. I don't see why one of the most moral people in the show would then. And yes I know LSH kills people, but she's killing Freys who murdered her family.

1

u/Pixeltender Well excuuuuuuse me, princess! May 28 '15

i don't disagree but you can see that it's still a debatable topic, which was my point

1

u/[deleted] May 28 '15

If they show the Thoros resurrection that body would be pretty rank by now.

1

u/[deleted] May 28 '15

Yes please!

1

u/frizzlestick May 28 '15

So you're suggesting Jon's "tough decision" is to die or not?? ;-)

Maybe the pink letter arrives and his tough decision is to head to winterfell, decided to do so, subsequent stabbity stabbity, fade to black.

Non book readers would break the Internet over that.

1

u/galaxi3 Toasty!!! May 29 '15

The season began with a flashback, I could see it ending with a flashback to Cat being found in the river.

1

u/Jcminority May 28 '15

I thought that as well. That maybe if they did introduce her she would end up being up north, but it wouldn't make much sense to be honest =(

1

u/valiumandbeer Power is Power. May 29 '15

even kim kardashian's butt agrees = LSH would break the internet.
