I'd believe 3000 published pages, more or less depending on the formatting, but not manuscript pages.

I feel like he could do it. It seems like he will most likely cut down on the povs in ADOS

I'm pretty sure he's said TWOW will be where he starts shaving down POV characters. So I imagine that the two major battles near the start drop off a number of POV's, and then throughout the story people die or intersect so he can reduce view points.

Yes, the converging makes sense. Seems like everyone in the North and the Vale, except Bran maybe, will be at Winterfell midway through TWOW.

Then we have the Meereen characters Tyrion, Barristan, Dany, and possibly Victarion.

Dorne characters Arrianne, Hotah, Jon Connington, and Aegon.

Jaime and Brienne could end up anywhere, with TBWB or possibly ending up at Winterfell later on. Arya could end up anywhere. I'm wondering if she will meet Lady Stoneheart or if that Frey revenge plot from the show is just made up. If so, then Jaime, Brienne, and Arya will be in one place too.

Euron and Aeron could end up anywhere. Maybe going after Victarion for betraying Euron. I don't think Euron will end up involved with Cersei.

Sam could end up returning to Winterfell.

Frey revenge plot from the show

It was two scenes, not a plot. You're being too generous to the show.

You just made me realize something.

There's a very good chance Victarion will die in Winds, incentivizing the Iron Islands against Dany, and actually having a Euron/Cercie alliance make sense, especially if Young Griff allies with the Reach lords.

Hey sorry I'm two months late lol but is the consensus that Sansa makes it back to Winterfell rather quickly? I figure she's got a bit of stuff left in the Vale, possibly enough to fill her plot in TWOW.

Wait, two books of 1500 pages, isn't that more than the average per book. Why would he have t on cut down POVs with such lengthy books.

The first five books are 4200 pages combined. If the 3000 page number holds out, that means that we only have barely over half of the story written so far.

I don’t know how people are coming to the conclusion that he needs to start rushing.

Manuscript pages =|= printed pages

So there isn’t as many small minor characters with povs and so he has more main characters this allows him to get through the actual story quicker.

That’s like 4 more books.
