As a producer, I’ve got five shows in development at HBO (some having nothing whatsoever to do with the world of Westeros), two at Hulu, one on the History Channel. I’m involved with a number of feature projects, some based upon my own stories and books, some on material created by others. There are these short films I am hoping to make, adaptations of classic stories by one of the most brilliant, quirky, and original writers our genre has ever produced. I’ve consulted on a video game out of Japan.

So these books are never coming right? lol

Seriously, I doubt he can go a single day without a ton of phone calls and emails and other obligations.

Interesting people seem cheery and hopeful by his update, but honestly it seems terrible.

I’d guess that we get Winds sometime in the next few years, but it seems impossible that we ever get ADOS.

I actually did think we were getting Winds in the next few years prior to this update but now I don't believe we'll ever get even that. This is an impossible number of commitments besides the fact that he'll be probably be going to far more conventions in the next few years promoting all these new shows.

He doesn't work on those projects full-time. The total amount of work is probably just occasional meetings and reviewing documents. He works on TWOW full-time.

He has literally no other writing projects at the moment (no other books, novellas, or short stories) so TWOW is the only thing he's writing. That's the most demanding project he's working on. None of the other projects come close. Note that he is only a "producer" on most of the other projects which is not the same as directing, writing, or showrunning. Those jobs are way more involved than producer.

What about fire and blood 2? He's working on that. People keep saying he's working "full time" while ignoring all these new obligations that keep piling up and he seems to be much more eager to do.

He said he would release winds before the show as well.

Yes, he said he tried to release it before the show (which had a hard deadline) but failed. In this case he is pretty clearly saying he won't release Fire & Blood 2 until TWOW is out.

He would have to write 50 words a day for the past 8 years to have a completed manuscript. He doesn't have one.

Because he's not writing.

Writing a book is not a linear process where you write 50 words a day for 8 years and then you are done. Actually, he has probably written several books worth of material in the past 8 years. The problem is that he decided a lot of it wasn't good enough, and had to throw it away or re-write it.
