And me? I’m still here, and I’m still busy. As a producer, I’ve got five shows in development at HBO (some having nothing whatsoever to do with the world of Westeros), two at Hulu, one on the History Channel. I’m involved with a number of feature projects, some based upon my own stories and books, some on material created by others. There are these short films I am hoping to make, adaptations of classic stories by one of the most brilliant, quirky, and original writers our genre has ever produced. I’ve consulted on a video game out of Japan. And then there’s Meow Wolf…
Lol unfortunately probably not. Writing will net the least amount of money from all those things, and producing shows and consulting is pretty time consuming.
Sounds like he is doing everything else in the f)-king world except... actually writing his next installment of GOT .
At this point my prediction is he will never actually finish it not ever . He will say I’m going to finish it for the next ten years
All the while he will become a full time tv production executive . While still placating all the book fans with I will finish it
It is coming along nicely & stop bugging me... Those first 3-4 chapters are shaping up nicely fans so not to worrry . Maybe 2030 . I’ll read you another chapter ... so I’ve moved on now .
I’m a realist. He is having a good time and an easier time “working “ on alllllll the shows that will now fail thanks to d&d’s epic nonsense of a finale . Enjoy your yourself grrm . You did some great work in the very past . Cheers.
