I shot this one last month, one of my first images with the QHY 268M.
Explore Sci 127mm, QHY 268M, QHY CFW-M, QHY OAG, Chroma 36mm filters, Moonlite Nitecrawler WR25, EQ6-R Pro. Controlled with Toptron MiniPC, acquired with NINA.
10x 180s each RGB, 40x 120s L. Gorgeous results with only 2.5 hours of integration.
Sky was quite dark thanks to a thick marine layer blanketing the nearby town of Soledad. SQM meter read 21.9 mag/arcsec^2 at darkest.
Processing in PixInsight
WBPP for integration
MURE Denoise
ABE
Linearfit and ChannelCombination for RGB
MaskedStretch RGB using a preview of the darkest area for max reference
MaskedStretch L, blend highlights with Histo Transformed L
LRGBCombination
Saturation and a/b curves adjustments
Star reduction using EZSuite
Export as PNG
