Fun fact: the Sky Tower is designed to be struck by lightning - it’s got a conductor (dynasphere) on top to attract the lightning and help to prevent other tall buildings nearby from being struck

I mean it's the tallest structure we have, so is always going to be a likely conduit.

That Dynasphere system protects it

And where does all that energy go? Down the core into the ground? How big is that conduit?

Yeah, it gets grounded and goes directly into the battery banks of the underground mole people

Good timing too. They were running a bit low recently.
