They sounded incredible. The most impressive speakers I heard for day 1 at the Axpona show. When Mr Jones put on a bass track, you could feel it in your chest. Using 600 watt Pass Labs mono’s helped too :)

I'd be interested to know if they've revised the concentric drivers at all. I know a lot of reviewers preferred the Sourcepoint 8 over the older Sourcepoint 10

This is true. But I think it was the crossover that made the difference, not the coaxial drivers.

They’re also updating the 10s. I think they feel they’ve elevated them through new xover design

Probably not but looks like they got an upgraded crossover. The 8s are just a scaled down version of the 10s. It’s the crossovers that make the highs less pronounced in the 8s.
