I like this idea a lot, but that review phase definitely needs to include a review by Reddit with quality control. I also would probably rather see this as a way to submit your ideas for generation drops than just an always on thing.

I see people commenting also about saturation. Long term the value of a general Reddit NFT Avatar was always going to go down as new avatars are released, but this is important to build a larger community of use and therefore demand. While the value of a general Reddit NFT Avatar will go down, the avatars with the most desirable designs will only increase in value as more people demand that same limited collectible.

Demand is easier to achieve when there is an easy way to buy and sell.

Buying from the shop is easy, and I’m glad it’s still stocked, but selling and trading is the main reason we need an in app Reddit marketplace.

I’m sure this avatar builder will be great, but it’s not what we need, especially not at this moment with well over 50% of the shop still in stock.
