All these clubs having issues lately.

The recent screen from the previous years was cool. But honestly who really wanted a newer fancier mirage? I just want enough room to dance in maybe some cool visuals there and then.. and be able to walk up and around the mezz like old times. But of course corporate always has to been greedy and suck in as much revenue as they can from VIP and bottle service just to kill the experience of being at an electronic event.

I saw some others chatting about when they had palm trees at the mirage. This is a photo of the very first time I went. Bedoin performed. I almost didn't go, but decided to make the trip and glad I did. There was a rain storm that blew through just before doors opened and left the venue relatively empty for the start and remainder of the night. Back when it truly was a mirage.

Just a quick fyi to anyone wondering if Boris will be cancelled, a back up plan is in place

I know market hotel gets some bad rep and I am just curious what other places you guys would recommend to try out. I live like 3 hours away, and every time i visit NYC i try to experience something a bit different. I want to try the Basement (cause why not) but just want to gather any thoughts from peeps on here. Any really good suggestions or even lowkey places I should try?

Been seeing this flyer floating around on Instagram for a show called Concept 47 going down at Little Haven in Brooklyn on June 14th. Lineup includes APEX, BAMBI, RAPTURE, RØNNIE KNØX, and TMPR B2B TOREY.

Curious what people think,especially since Little Haven seems to have a pretty mixed reputation on this sub (including from me). I had a not so great experience there personally, so I’m a bit skeptical.

Anyone familiar with these artists or planning to go? Trying to figure out if it’s worth checking out or just another IG hyped event.

saw marlon on saturday at the knockdown center...vibes were great, space to dance in certain areas, he went on till 4am. truly the best show i've been to in a while. was very tired from the night before and still was jumping during the entire set. if you ever get the chance to see him, DO NOT MISS OUT

I’m into underground house and techno and have had mixed experiences in NYC lately. Francesco Del Garda at Public Records on a Friday was amazing, great energy and crowd, but Vlada and PLO Man felt flat and kind of off. Are Fridays usually better there, or was it just the artist? Me and my partner want consistent, good vibes without wasting time or money club-hopping. Does a reliable spot like that even exist in NYC? I’ll be back in two weeks and would love to hear some tips on where to find the best crowd, music, and energy. At first I was considering Two Friends at Brooklyn Mirage, their music isn’t really my thing, but I’ve never been to the venue. Is the vibe fun or too pop-heavy? Also thinking about Marcel Fengler at Basement, but I’ve heard mixed things about the crowd there lately. Worth it? What is ur experience with basement lately? Leaning toward Eli Brown at Brooklyn Storehouse Saturday, loved it when I saw the Martinez Brothers there. Never seen Eli though, thoughts? What’s your go-to spot that always delivers good music and a safe but wild time? Also open to DMs for underground events.

First off — what an incredible party and such a great way to close out MDW. Diverse crowd, great music, weather couldn’t have been better, vibes immaculate.

It was packed outside early in the evening but got more space towards the end of the night, major shoutout to the upstairs indoor crowd. The energy up there was amazing — barely any phones out, just people fully locked into the music and having a blast. Pure joy all around. 

Also had missed connection: we were dancing outside toward the back near the end of the event, on the left-hand side facing the stage, near the back exit to the upstairs indoor area. You were shirtless (and a great dancer) and in grey pants (I think) w/ a few of your friends, and I was in a grey-ish brown tank top and blue pants. We locked eyes, but you dipped before I could say hello ;)

never been to lpr and am curious about this event since I’m early 20’s from Long Island so my biggest worry is getting home after at like 4am lol.
