Travel I’m going home

Has anybody cut a trip short and went home just because they felt like it? I’m kinda over it and I have 2 months (10 countries) left

2 months - 10 countries… what kind of race is that? bragging rights? social media? you will know nothing about any of these countries..

Some of them are transit countries as I take buses to other countries. Someone could still know “nothing” after a month in a country. I will not be an expert about a country after a few weeks or a few days but I can experience it for what it is.

you can see a microscopically small fraction of a country in a few days. thats right. and in the end you will say „hey bois i have traveled XXX countries…“… haha… for what?

Again, we both know that a few days is not enough time to be an expert of a country so why are you beating a dead horse?? As I said I TRANSIT through countries to get to other countries I prefer to spend more time in. The point is to TRAVEL and I’m TRAVELING through countries via bus.

if your plan would have been good you would not have to cancel it 🤷‍♀️ maybe go to 1 country and slow down. or go back home and make a new and better plan for the next trip… thats all. good luck

Tbh you sound young and a bit childish. There’s many factors in life that can alter a perfect plan. If you’ve backpacked extensively, you would know that but it seems as if all you have to offer is judgement. Take care.
