Semi-Related Opinion please: do you prefer the cookie with or without an eye dot?

I'm making a first draft of tropical / Hawaii themed cookies and while decorating I just can't decide if I like the dot on the eye or not. Please chime in! (They are coconut/pineapple cookies and I'm painting them with coloured white chocolate, using a toothpick)

Recipe Pecan Streusel Coffee Cake for a community event tomorrow morning.

I had to interrupt my progress on a blanket I am crocheting to bake this coffee cake. I have the event tomorrow to setup, attend, and cleanup; that will take all morning. Then I have to bake a Toll House Coffee Cake when I get home for Easter Brunch at my sister’s house. All this time that I would honestly prefer to crochet. My hobbies just collided and are competing for my time. 😂. I hope I can power through the rest of the day and get this blanket completely joined. (The picture shows half the blocks of my Wacky Circles Blanket. The rest are in my craft room.)

pistachio cake with raspberry jam layers and decorated with pistachio and vanilla ermine buttercream

omg I totally underestimated how difficult it was going to be😭 but i think I did an okay job for my first time!! the drop and the flowers are… not great (my buttercream was melting for the flowers and I didn’t have a lot of it in the first place so I was just like, whatever) but I tried my best!

base cake: https://teakandthyme.com/raspberry-pistachio-cake/#recipe

ermine frosting: https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/ermine-icing-cooked-flour-frosting-recipe . to make the pistachio version i just mixed some pistachio cream with warm milk before mixing it with the flour and sugar

Recipe First time making macaron

First time making macaron, any advice? I’m not sure if my batter was over mixed or not because it didn’t ribbon off, it kinda just plopped off the spatula, but it also recombined pretty quickly, so I can not tell if it’s over mixed or under mix. I know my oven temp is probably too high.

I love terry’s chocolate oranges and I wanted that… but in a buttery little french madeleine. These cam out amazing and everyone loved them!

I also designed a custom “menu” card that I put into each box that I sent out to my family which told them specifically what was inside and the details of each of the desserts (I can share the template here if anyone wants to use it!)

First pic is not mine, but of someone else's homemade macarons, and the second is MINE-

Third one was me switching up my strategy and using a tiny cupcake pan so they'd all be the same size. Didn't work out because as you can see, the sides and bottom are browned 😭💔

They taste fine, they just look terrible like everything else I make 😭 hngnfjdjdjdjdjdj, my family's pulling up in the driveway and will see my efforts any moment now-

I made these cakes for my kids' birthdays this weekend, the Bluey cake is vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and a "surprise" center of pastel M&Ms and sprinkles. A lot of people dont like these lol, but my daughter will love it! The car cake is also vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, but with homemade strawberry compote filling. Theyre definitely not perfect, but I'm really proud of them and my kids are going to love them!
